CAIRO - A passenger boat sank in the Nile River and resulted in six students tenggalam Christian school in Cairo, Egypt. The incident occurred when six pupils were going through the holidays.
"The ship is still in the tour organized by a Church of Maadi. When the incident took place, the vessel filled with 19 passenger women," MENA news agency said on Friday (16/07/2010).
According to local authorities, suspected of having an accident occurs because of overloading the vessel. While 10 other victims were rescued in the accident. When accidents occur, the vessel is filled by a female student whose age was between 10 to 18 years.
Ships in Egypt often have overloaded, while the passenger manife generally not equal to the number of actual passengers.
Accidents like this alone is not the first time that happened in Egypt. Egyptian authorities have repeatedly asked the managers of the ship to pay attention to safety factors, which are often ignored
