
MANILA - Philippine tornado Conson attack today. This disaster led to eight people dead and causing severe damage to the slums in Manila.
According to the Philippine National Disaster Coordinating Agency, hurricanes Conson reportedly attacked the Philippines with the power to reach 120 kilometers per hour. In addition to killing eight people in the mainland, 19 fishermen who were sailing when the disaster struck, reportedly still missing. Similarly, as quoted by AFP, Wednesday (07/14/2010).
Police reported a mango tree which collapsed leaving two people dead stricken citizens, while three others were reportedly injured in the incident. While other people were killed in an outside city of Manila, after falling by a collapsed roof.
Disconnection of lines of communication after the hurricane struck, rescuers still could not determine the damages caused by this disaster. There are concerns if the number of deaths reported by the total number reaching eight people can continue to grow.
Typhoon Conson also makes power supplies at the Pulai Luzon, including the capital city of Manila. Railway system in the region even to be discontinued operations, due to inadequate electricity supply.
The wind also causes a slum destroyed, forcing residents to build temporary settlements.
The Philippine government currently dismiss students elementary to middle school level general in Manila, so there is no possibility of victims who may fall more.
