Request for Full Full Afghanistan Assistance Fund

KABUL - The Afghan government will ask for complete control of aid funds worth $ 20 billion or approximately Rp181 trillion (Rp9.050-per USD). The plan grants will be approved at the International Conference on Afghanistan today.

But the great desire of the Government of Afghanistan was invited concern from donor countries. This is due to doubts of those countries on the ability of Afghanistan to become independent for the first time since the invasion of United States-led coalition forces (USA) in 2001 ago. Similarly Reuters reported on Tuesday (20/07/2010).
The movement of coalition forces intended to eliminate the Taliban movement is continuing today. But questions remain about the effectiveness of efforts to follow the central government to empower local governments to advance the lives of local residents.

According to the NGO Oxfam, the fund approximately $ 40 billion or approximately Rp362 trillion has been spent on Afghanistan since 2002 earlier. These funds, among others, is spent training and equip Afghan security officers and police.
